“A Sacred Hug”
An Invitation to Embody Presence
with Alaya & Corrine
October 2 – October 6, 2024

We welcome you to join us for this very special offering of mind, body and spirit, a four-night silent retreat with Alaya and Corrine of silence, meditation, Satsang and Presence Yoga. Everything is already here for awakening in our ordinary day to day lives and retreat can gently point us to what is already here and present within each of us.

About the Retreat
Within the slowing down of retreat, we will open to what arises and deepens in Satsang and extend it into the silent depths of our being in  gentle Presence Yoga. Alaya loves to describe this yoga as a sacred melting into the ground bodywork. This movement and flow back and forth from Satsang to Presence Yoga is offered to be organically supporting, nourishing and deepening like a nest, an embrace, a sacred hug.

Here we are creating conditions for the nervous system to open in organic receptivity, recalibrating into presence, revealing our true nature. For truly presence isn’t fully embodied if it is not able to move everywhere. Grace, gravity and an open heart untie the knots and layers of conditioning that cause suffering. All together through the flow of the weekend, we are in service to what is arising, awakening from the dream of the separate self.

“Each time I enter a retreat with Alaya and Corrine there is a wonderful sense of relief and excitement for the magic that is about to unfold. And each time I leave retreat, I am sad for it to end because I long to stay in the magic created there just a bit longer…the special space for us each to explore our true nature and to just be without all the outside noise. I always leave with a deeper connection to myself, the world and the knowing within. The pairing of Satsang and Presence Yoga is nothing like I have experienced before, it allows space to nourish both body and soul, while simultaneously prepping us each to go deeper within.”

Flow of the Retreat
Each day will include Satsang, Meditation and Presence Yoga blended seamlessly with free time to enjoy the beautiful land of Well-Being. This is a silent retreat, so there is an invitation for sacred silence during the free time and meals. Evenings may include time at the fire circle by the river.

“Grace is like gravity, it will continue to pull you within
for the truth of who you are. It isn’t found in doing.
It is found in the silence – in stillness.”     Alaya

About Alaya
Alaya shares from her own direct experience that awakening is a natural present unfolding. “Everything we need to wake up is already here in our ordinary lives and in tenderness as our true nature, all of life becomes the teacher.” As people started asking Alaya to teach, Grace appeared as her beloved teacher and friend Adyashanti. With his guidance and support she began giving Satsang in 2011. This will be Alaya’s 15th retreat at Well-Being Retreat Center.

Alaya’s invitation is to meet what is here so deeply that separation cannot be maintained. When separation falls away, what remains is our true nature; open, loving, and free. But first we are invited to meet what is here, whatever it is.

About Corrine Champigny
After an awakening on a 30-day silent retreat in 1993, Corrine’s life transformed from being a singer-songwriter in Nashville to opening her first Yoga and Meditation Center called House of Bliss on Music Row. Her journey first began with meditation until she experienced a unique yoga class where she felt the boundaries of her physical body melt away. This was the initial murmurings of what she now shares as Presence Yoga.
