I’ve been practicing meditation since 2008. My first teacher taught me TM and gave me my mantra. I was in awe even back then on how much it helped me stay present, focused and brought calmness almost instantaneously after each meditation. My inquisitive mind wanted to learn more and so I trained under Mind Body Institute and learnt different modalities of meditation and got my teacher training certification. I also follow many leaders like Deepak Chopra, Dr. Joe Dispenza and Maharishi Mahadev who have also been my teachers in this practice.
Meditation had absolutely transformed my life inside and out. And I’m so ecstatic to share this practice with all of you on our Soulful Sundays gathering. Meditating with community has always been close to my heart and I’m just thrilled that we have this again at the Ivy House.

I’ve studied and practiced meditation for most of my adult life. Beginning in 1993, I began learning about the relationship of meditation and mind/body medicine taught by Dr. Deepak Chopra, and subsequently became a certified meditation teacher for his organization in 1998. Shortly thereafter, at a Chopra Center’s Teachers’ Retreat in 1999, I met my fellow Chopra Center Educator Corrine Champigny. And now, all these years later, we have our Soulful Sundays where we can come together as a group to meditate at the Ivy House.
